Microblading

Microblading is a semi-permanent tattooing technique that creates hairlike strokes to fill in sparse or thinning brows, The practice aims to give you and effortless full brow - no need for brow pencils or gels. Microblading is a  major investment costing $500. And if you are going to get a tattoo, especially one on your face, you need to do the research. Most Microbladers have had a total of 2 days of training in the Charlotte area. This is a scary thought! North Carolina is very leanient on the Microblading rules. Please choose your artist wisely.

Microblading, unlike body art tattooing is much more superficial to the skin. The inks are also much more degradable. Your own immune system will digest the ink and also push out the pigment as well. Over time this ink will fade. It will last one to two years depending on your skin and your lifestyle. Microblading does require touchups yearly or bi-yearly.

The average person needs about two sessions - one first session, and then they come back in four weeks for a touch-up session. The average session is two hours long. This includes measuring and drawing the brow on and then implanting the pigment into the skin.
